How to Download SSC Stenographer Grade C, D Result 2025
- Visit the official website at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Results” section and select the “Steno ‘C’ and ‘D’” tab.
- Locate the “Stenographer Grade C and D Examination, 2024: Final Result” link.
- Enter your Roll Number/Application Number, Date of Birth, and submit.
- Download and print the scorecard for Document Verification.

Vacancy Details
Total Vacancies (2024-2025): 2,006 posts (Grade C: ~215 selected, Grade D: ~1,908 selected).
2025 Notification: 1,590 vacancies announced for Grade C and D.
Eligibility: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board with transcription skills (English: 50 minutes, Hindi: 65 minutes).

Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): 200 marks (General Intelligence, General Awareness, English).
- Descriptive Paper: Applicable for specific posts, if required.
- Skill Test: Stenography (Grade C: 100 wpm, Grade D: 80 wpm).
- Document Verification: Final stage before appointment.
Final merit is based on CBT and Skill Test performance. Shortlisted candidates (Grade C: 215, Grade D: 1,908) proceed to Document Verification.
