How to Download UGC NET June 2025 Scorecard

  1. Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the “UGC NET June 2025 Result” link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security PIN.
  4. Click “Submit” to view your result.
  5. Download and print the scorecard for future reference.

Age Limit for UGC NET 2025

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum 30 years (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

Total Seats/Qualifications

UGC NET does not have a fixed number of seats. Qualification depends on merit and cutoffs:

  • JRF and Assistant Professor: 5,269 candidates qualified.
  • Assistant Professor and PhD: 54,885 candidates qualified.
  • PhD Only: 128,179 candidates qualified.

Selection is based on performance in Paper 1 (General, 100 marks) and Paper 2 (Subject-specific, 200 marks), followed by document verification by universities.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a related subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) from a recognized university. Those appearing for their final year exams are also eligible. Check the official notification for details.

Selection Process

The selection process includes:

  • Written Exam: Paper 1 (General, 100 marks) and Paper 2 (Subject-specific, 200 marks).

Qualifying marks do not guarantee JRF or Assistant Professor roles; selection depends on cutoffs and university requirements.
